The Easter long weekend at Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley, is wildly popular and this year’s sold-out event is full of unforgettable experiences for all the family. For those guests fortunate enough to secure a spot, there is an array of exciting activities for adults and children alike, from outdoor adventures to creative and cultural sessions, and spectacular culinary affairs.
Celebrate Easter enjoying sumptuous cuisine and time spent in the great outdoors, with the ones you hold dear in a weekend of family fun.
GOOD FRIDAY
Good Friday kicks off for a fun morning for the kids with the Wolgan Rangers Eggcellent Adventure- an orienteering treasure hunt experience. Children will be testing their navigational skills in order to find curious trinkets and cached objects.
In the evening, the Smoking and Cleansing Experience takes place – an ancient ceremony and unique insight into the culture and environmental values of the Wiradjuri people. Indulge in a lavish four-course seafood degustation dinner while enjoying stunning valley views and live music. This lodge tradition is not to be missed. Later that evening, gather around for the Twilight Campfire & Stargazing. This memorable experience provides an enchanting tour of the twilight sky amidst the atmospheric precinct of the 1832 Heritage Homestead.
EASTER SATURDAY
Wolgan Rangers Carnival Games Kangaroo Corner starts the day with a crazy morning of hula hooping, juggling and tumbling fun. After, guests enjoy a leisurely and insightful stroll amongst the beautiful landscape of Wolgan Valley, in the company of a knowledgeable Field Guide. This activity provides a wonderful opportunity to gain an insight into the natural environment and cultural heritage of Wolgan Valley. There’s KidsOnly Pony Rides and Games Kangaroo Corner in the afternoon where some of the resort’s friendly horses will be available to enjoy pats and some apples. Children under the age of 11 years will be able to enjoy a short ‘pony ride’ on the safety of a leading rein and parental supervision. Twilight Campfire & Stargazing is hosted in the evening.
EASTER SUNDAY
Families gather for a morning of joy-filled outdoor activities including the annual Easter egg hunt and lawn games. Mark Easter Sunday by planting a tree and be part of the hands-on contribution to Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley’s environmental conservation work. Finish the day with a guided sunset hike, taking in the peace and tranquility of the range as the sun goes down. The signature restaurant Wolgan by Bentley will serve up an enticing celebratory feast for Easter Sunday evening.
