An enchantingly robust wet season at Bamurru Plains awaits. It is this time of year when the monsoon brings life and sustenance in its annual cycle of environmental rebirth to the Top End of Australia. With this verdant burst of life comes and invitation to join the new Green Season Photo Safari of Bamurru Plains with Canon Master Richard I’Anson for the 12-16th of March 2022 and capture the Top End in all her boom and bust theatre.
The ‘Wet’ is almost a religious event in the Top End, and the power of the storms and the waters they generate act to cleanse the natural ecosystems and the soul. Yet it is a time of year that remains a mystery to those living elsewhere in Australia and the world. The safari with Canon Master photographer, Richard I’Anson, pulls the power and extremes of the ‘Wet’ together. From the rivers that cascade over the Arnhem escarpment in Kakadu to the coastal floodplains bursting with new life. The dramatic setting provides the phenomenal subject matter for budding and experienced wildlife photographers alike.

We invite you to share that connection with us.” – Charlie Carlow, Wild Bush Luxury Founder.
