Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley welcomed guests back to the resort on 2 February 2020 after temporarily closing due to surrounding bushfire activity.

Like all Australians, the Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley team are deeply saddened by the devastation of bushfires and their hearts go out to all who have been impacted. The resort is indebted to the NSW Rural Fire Service, who worked hard to control the fire activity in and around Wolgan Valley. They appreciate their courage and dedication and thank them for their incredible efforts.

Whilst there is visible scarring in the surrounding bushland and National Parks, the resort infrastructure and immediate surrounds were fortunately spared. There are already signs of natural regeneration and native wildlife that call the 7,000-acre reserve home have already returned with kangaroos, wombats and wallabies roaming abundantly.

The valley is safe and beautiful, and all who visit Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley will have the opportunity to witness the transformation of nature and personally contribute through the resort’s important conservation work.

We encourage all to follow their conservation journey, visit the valley and witness the transformation of nature over the coming months.
