The Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race is said to be the world’s toughest ocean race. Yet it begins on one of the most beautiful harbours in the world and this year the TRUE NORTH will be right there for what is always an action packed start! 

True North Adventure Cruises is pleased to announce that master yachtsman Skip Lissiman will be their special guest.

Skip has competed in the revered race no less than six times and he was also part of the winning crew of Australia II in the 1983 America’s Cup. He will escort guests around the race preparations in Rushcutters Bay, provide expert commentary as the fleet vies for strategic advantage ahead of the starting line and provide race updates as the battle for line honours continues. Mix-in heli-flights to the cellar door, guided historical tours, spectacular walks, cultural experiences, our renowned on-board dining and live entertainment and you’ve got every reason to sail away this summer.
