Kangaroo Island’s acclaimed Southern Ocean Lodge has been voted the best hotel in Australia in the prestigious Travel + Leisure magazine Top 100 Hotels List 2018.
The remote luxury lodge retained its leading position from the 2017 list, with a score this year of 95.58 out of a possible 100, giving it the highest ranking of any hotel in Australia and placing it at #47 in the magazine’s list.
qualia, Great Barrier Reef also featured in the Top 100 Hotels list – scoring 94.67 out of a possible 100, placing it #80 (tie).
The 2018 Top 100 Hotels list is the result of an international Travel + Leisure reader survey. It is one of the world’s most esteemed hotel collections and representative of the world’s most incredible travel experiences.
