DARREN PURCHESE COLLABORATIVE AT SPICERS PEAK LODGE

Join Spicers Peak Lodge for a weekend of indulgence with two acclaimed, passionate Australian chefs Doug Innes-Will and Darren Purchese. Together they will present an exquisite 5 course degustation dinner with expertly matched wines atop the mountain.

Darren Purchese is one of the most respected pastry chefs, authors, and television personalities based in Australia today. He is renowned for his exquisite and extravagant sweet creations, skilfully balancing flavours and texture to create a finished work of sweet art.

Friday evening (17th June) will showcase The Peak Restaurant, awarded two chef hats by the Brisbane Times Good Food Guide and The Best Culinary World Boutique Hotel in 2015. Doug and his team offer a contemporary Australian cuisine with an emphasis on respect for the produce, the producer and the environment. Guests will have the choice of a 3 course a la carte evening menu or the chef’s 5 course tasting menu.

Saturday night (18th June) will see Doug & Darren team up again to create a collaborative 5 course degustation featuring two of Darren’s delectable desserts. Enjoy an interactive evening with our chefs where guests are encouraged to approach the pass to chat with Darren and Doug and witness the plating of each dish.

DARREN PURCHESE COLLABORATIVE LUNCH AT SPICERS PEAK LODGE

Can’t get away for a whole weekend? Why not enjoy a leisurely Sunday drive to Spicers Peak Lodge for  the Darren Purchese collaborative lunch. Featuring a 5 course degustation menu that will be artfully prepared by celebrity chef Darren Purchese & The Peak Restaurants head chef Doug Innes-Will.

The lunch will take place from 12pm – 3pm, with the option to include matched wines.

PEAK LONG TABLE LUNCH – Sunday 3rd July at 12.30PM

As part of The Scenic Rim Eat Local Week, the Peak Long Table Lunch will allow you to  experience destination dining at its best. Local produce will be honoured as guests embrace the remote high country with a long table share plate lunch, enjoyed fireside with live music in a convivial atmosphere of relaxed luxury.
