Kangaroo Island’s Southern Ocean Lodge has been honoured with another prestigious international award, winning the “Above and Beyond” category in the 2014 Smith Hotel Awards.
 
The accolade was announced in London by the Mr & Mrs Smith online collection of boutique hotels, which selected Southern Ocean Lodge from hundreds of properties worldwide for its top customer experience award.
 
Mr & Mrs Smith Reviewer Juliet Kinsman said Southern Ocean Lodge had “mastered the art of ‘relaxed, yet nothing is too much trouble’”.
 
The award is the third prestigious honour given to Southern Ocean Lodge in recent months, having been named the number one property in Australia and New Zealand last month in the US Condé Nast Traveler magazine Readers’ Choice Awards 2014.
