qualia offers two year round rate packages, qualia Classic and qualia Gourmet.

Both packages include:

  • A la carte breakfast at the Long Pavilion restaurant daily
  • VIP return Hamilton Island Airport/Marina to qualia transfers (arrival/departure details must be provided)
  • Non-alcoholic beverages at qualia (bottled beverages, water, tea & coffee) excluding blended drinks
  • Use of a golf buggy for duration of stay (drivers licence required)
  • VIP chauffeur service around Hamilton Island
  • Use of non-motorised watercraft
  • Use of the qualia gym, spa, sauna and access to tennis court hire
  • Complimentary WiFi

Additional qualia Gourmet rate package inclusions:

  • A la carte dinner at the Long Pavilion restaurant or Pebble Beach each evening

Additional inclusions for Beach House/The Residence (Classic package):

  • 24hr direct access to qualia’s dedicated Concierge Team
  • Welcome amenity upon arrival consisting of fine foods and beverages, hand selected by our Executive Chef.
  • Fully stocked bar, including a selections of spirits, Australian wines and other alcoholic beverages, refreshed daily.
  • Use of a four-seater golf buggy

Additional inclusions for Beach House/The Residence (Gourmet package):

  • 24hr direct access to qualia’s dedicated Concierge Team
  • Pantry stocked with a range of fine local and international foods and beverages, refreshed daily
  • Fully stocked bar, including a selections of spirits, Australian wines and other alcoholic beverages, refreshed daily.

qualia enjoys a tropical climate of hot summers, warm winters and bright spring and autumn days. Average daily temperatures range from around 22-23ºC in the winter months of June and July, and up to 29-30ºC degrees in December and January during the height of summer. The tropical wet season occurs during January to March when days can be steamy and the summer heat is often broken by refreshing, tropical showers.

Water temperatures remain a welcoming 25ºC throughout most of the year round making it a perfect destination to visit the world famous Whitehaven Beach or the Great Barrier Reef.

  • Experience unprecedented access via helicopter on the ‘Journey to the Heart’ experience to the iconic ‘Heart Island’ lagoon in the Great Barrier Reef. 
  • Private beach drop-off. Take a private transfer to one of the many local secluded beaches, with a gourmet picnic. Swim, snorkel and soak in the Whitsunday sunshine. 
  • Indulge in a slice of Japanese culture with the Sake and Sashimi tastings. Journey through one of Japan’s oldest and most famous culinary traditions as some of the finest sake is individually matched with Australia’s highest quality, sashimi-grade fish. 

By air: Hamilton Island is easily accessible with daily direct commercial flights from Australia’s east coast international gateway cities – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Cairns. Hamilton Island Airport is located just south of the marina. The airport also caters to private jets and air charters, along with locally operated helicopters, light planes and seaplanes with prior approval. qualia guests enjoy complimentary VIP return transfers from the airport.

The onsite heli-pads at qualia and at Dent Island are only used for drop off and pick up by Hamilton Island Air. Access to these heli-pads by any other helicopter is strictly by special request and will be taken into consideration by the airport authority.

By road: The Hamilton Island Marina welcomes all watercraft to its 300-berth marina. Passenger ferries sail to Hamilton Island from Airlie Beach on the Queensland coast at scheduled tines daily. All qualia guests arriving at the marina are met by their qualia host and VIP transfers to and from qualia are provided.

There is good mobile phone coverage and complimentary WiFi access across the property.
