The generous all-inclusive tariff at Pretty Beach House includes:

  • Daily a la carte breakfast, relaxed shared lunch, evening cocktails and canapés and four course degustation menu for dinner, tailored to suit.
  • An open bar featuring premium wines and top shelf spirits comprise the beverage menu, whilst the cellar list is full of rare and old world finds (Cellar list is additional).
  • In-pavilion mini bar stocked with snacks and refreshments.
  • Unlimited WiFi throughout the property
  • Complimentary self-guided bush walks and premium mountain bikes are available for guest enjoyment.

Pretty Beach House is nestled into the Bouddi National Park and enjoys four distinctive seasons. Winter sees average temperatures ranging between 9 and 17 degrees whilst Summer enjoys average temperatures ranging from 20 to 26 degrees.  Due to the moderate climate, there are activities to suit all seasons.

Grab the camera and spot humpback whales as they migrate north particularly between May and July, enjoy the colourful wildflowers on display in spring or surf the popular coastline in the summer.

A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended as protection against the sun throughout the year.

  • A leisurely 20-minute stroll through untouched native flora to the tip of the Aboriginal Dreaming sacred site of Box Head is breathtaking, with stunning 180-degree views of the five surrounding waterways including Broken Bay to Palm Beach and the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. 
  • Navigate the local waterways on the immersive Broken Bay Pearl Farm Tour and choose your favourite pearls to take home. 
  • The Chef’s Table Dining Experience offers an intimate yet informative culinary experience with your own private chef, wine glass in hand. 

By road: Pretty Beach House is approximately 90 minutes’ drive north of Sydney, and 90 minutes’ drive south of Newcastle. Return airport transfers can be arranged from Sydney or Newcastle airports. Alternatively you may prefer to hire a car from the airport and self-drive.

By ferry: A favorite route is via the Palm Beach – Wagstaffe ferry service. Parking at Palm Beach wharf can be difficult, so allow enough time to park. Palm Beach Ferries request passengers are on the wharf five minutes prior to departure time. This high speed journey travels between Palm Beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Wagstaffe and Ettalong Beach on the lower Central Coast peninsula. Departing roughly every hour the journey is one of the most picturesque in the world. Pretty Beach House can arrange the five-minute transfer from Wagstaffe wharf to the lodge.

By air: For a truly indulgent luxury getaway Pretty Beach House can arrange a helicopter transfer. Price on application. Or for arrival via seaplane, Sydney Seaplanes fly into local Booker Bay, and boat and car transfers will be arranged which add another 15 minutes to the journey. Seaplane departures are from Rose Bay, with the seaplane journey lasting approximately 30 minutes, as you head north above the spectacular Northern Beaches of Sydney.
