Embark on a 4 hour return private hike to Millar Vale Creek from Spicers Peak Lodge and explore volcanic rock walls, millions of years old, along with platypus habitat and bat caves in Queensland High Country.
The walk ventures along an unmarked trail that follows Millar Vale Creek from west to east. It begins on an open, flat area of dry sclerophyll forest before descending into the gorge and creek system, home to turtles, fresh water mussels and crayfish.
The tour commences with a 20 minute road transfer from Spicers Peak Lodge to Spicers Canopy, with a 2.5 hour guided walk along Millar Vale Creek, picnic lunch overlooking the rock pools, and finishes with a 20 minute road transfer back to the lodge and runs Wednesday to Sunday, commencing at 9:30am, subject to team availability.
